About

About Adrian

Strong family traits and ties.

Adrian’s roots are in Lac-Sainte-Marie, Quebec, where his parents operate an antique shop. That’s where he developed his appreciation for vintage treasures, collectibles, and antique furniture. From a young age, he enjoyed woodworking and carpentry.

Learning the art of fine woodworking

While living in British Columbia, Adrian worked for a company that specializes in fine wood finishes for luxury homes in Whistler. After completing the Carpentry Program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), he also started making furniture. The high demand for his creations meant he soon outgrew his Vancouver back yard and move his business to a larger workshop.

Back to his roots and more creative endeavours

After moving back to Lac-Ste-Marie, he completed additional furniture building courses at Algonquin College in Ottawa and learned to safely dismantle old barns and other structures. After dismantling over 20 structures, Adrian has a profound appreciation of the potential and beauty of salvaged wood.

Creativity, with an entrepreneurial spirit, runs in the family.
